About Instructor Aida Izadpanah holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Psychology and has trained as a floral designer at the New York Botanical Gardens. Her freelance floral design commissions include galas at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Met Opera, and the Waldorf Astoria. As a workshop instructor, Aida blends her expertise in design and aesthetics with a deep understanding of the mind-body connection, balancing attention to the meditative effects of being in the moment with the materials at hand and the acquisition of replicable skills in floral arrangement. Aida guides each workshop participant to be fully present, helping them create their own floral masterpieces while experiencing the calming, therapeutic benefits of working with flowers.
